Those people were also more likely to report lower levels of physical activity, and were 2.5 times more likely to engage in more than five hours a day of other sedentary activities. But interestingly, adults who spent a lot of time at the computer and still had high levels of physical activity were 1.86 times more likely to be overweight or obese than people who spent no time in front of the computer.

Many research papers have also proved that consuming a clove of garlic daily has a beneficial effect in lowering blood pressure. Amla, in any form, is also beneficial. Other foods that are helpful include watermelon seeds and khus khus seeds – these should be crushed, mixed with a little milk and taken at night with an apple.
During an attack of high blood pressure, you must restrict the quantity of food and at night, just have an apple with a glass of skimmed milk to which the crushed seeds have been added.
 
Pranayam and Yoga: Yoga is excellent when it comes to controlling high blood pressure. You can do the following pranayams – anilom vilom, sheetali, ujjayi and brahmbari – to manage episodes of high blood pressure. Omkara meditation – chanting ‘Om’ – is a powerful way to control your nerves.

1. Eat the seeds

8. Deep-six dark circles

"Inflammation produces free radicals, and free radicals contribute to aging by attacking collagen," But research still needs to connect the dots definitively and show that the anti-inflammatory abilities of omega-3s translate to younger-looking skin,
One study did find that older people who consumed more fish and veggies over their life had fewer wrinkles than those who ate more meat, the Journal of the American College of Nutrition reports. The research didn't focus solely on fish, however; vegetables' antioxidants, for example, may have been a factor. Aim for: two 5-ounce servings of fish per week; on other days, 1 oz of walnuts or 2 omega-3 eggs.

The survey of 3,000 women showed that the average woman burns off 48,000 calories a year trudging round shops.
According to the research, conducted by the makers of Skinny Cow low-fat desserts, women make up to 132 shopping trips a year, using up about five calories a minute pounding the high street or racing down the supermarket aisles. That’s the equivalent of 25 days’ worth of food.
In the survey, seven out of 10 women admitted feeling exhausted after a shopping trip. And over half said they felt more tired than they were after a workout in the gym.
